INTERNATIONAL LEGAL DESK · TÜRKİYE

Legal support for your life and business in Türkiye.

Understand the main legal steps for living, investing or doing business in Türkiye. Explore your topic, see what to prepare and contact our İzmir office.

Initial contact does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Do not send passports, health records, trade secrets or case files through an open channel.

WHERE TO START

Start with what you want to do in Türkiye.

The requirements for a residence permit, a property purchase and a company investment differ. We review your objective, existing documents and any deadlines before explaining the options. An investment alone does not guarantee citizenship.

YOUR LEGAL TOPIC

What would you like help with?

Choose a topic to see what to prepare for a discussion. These selections are not sent to our office and do not determine whether you qualify for a right or permit.

HOW THE DESK WORKS

How we start working together.

You should know what we need from you, which work we have agreed to undertake and what happens next. We cannot guarantee the outcome of an application or dispute.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your situation

We first discuss your situation, the countries involved and any deadlines. We also check whether a conflict of interest prevents us from acting.

  2. 02

    Understand the next steps

We explain where to apply, what documents are needed and which tasks we can undertake. The proposed scope and exclusions are put in writing.

  3. 03

Agree the work before it starts

Work begins after matter acceptance, identity and authority checks, a written scope / fee agreement and any required power of attorney.

WORKING PRINCIPLES

What you can expect from our office.

Direct responsibility

The responsible lawyer, accepted scope and communication channel are identified for the matter.

Written scope

Assumptions, exclusions, required documents and next actions are separated in writing.

Turkish procedure

Turkish filing, representation, language and authority requirements are checked for the actual transaction.

Data minimisation

Sensitive documents move only after the channel, purpose and need are confirmed.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you contact the office.

Can the first meeting be held remotely?

Yes. The suitable channel, time and scope are confirmed by the office. A contact request is not a confirmed appointment.

Should I send my passport or full file now?

No. In the first message, share only the general topic, countries involved and any urgent deadline. A secure document channel is selected after matter-acceptance checks.

Does an application or investment guarantee a permit or citizenship?

No. Eligibility, evidence, administrative review and current rules are assessed separately; no outcome is guaranteed.

Which language governs the legal work?

Turkish law and Turkish filings govern proceedings in Türkiye. Translation or interpreting needs are agreed for the particular matter.
